Jigi Mi Privacy Policy

Jigi Mi ("Jigi Mi," "we," "us," or "our") is operated by Adedeji Adetunji, with a mailing address at PO Box 20037, White Hall, AR 71612, United States ("Company"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the Jigi Mi mobile app (the "App"), how we use it, and the choices you have.

By using Jigi Mi, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account information

If you create an account, we collect your email address and a password. Your password is never stored in plain text — we store only a salted, one-way hash of it and cannot recover the original password.

You may also sign in with a third-party account, if we offer that later (e.g. Sign in with Apple or Google); in that case we receive only the identifiers and email address that provider shares with us, not your password for that service.

1.2 Anonymous usage, before you create an account

Jigi Mi lets you try a small number of checks before requiring an account. To do this, the App generates a random, anonymous session identifier the first time you open it and stores it securely on your device. We use this identifier only to track how many free checks that device has used and to carry your recent activity over to your account if you later sign up. It is not tied to your name or contact details unless and until you create an account. Anonymous sessions that are never converted into an account expire automatically after a limited period.

1.3 Photos you submit

When you use Quick Check or Full Look, you take or upload a photo for us to analyze. That photo is:

We do not use your photos for anything other than generating your result and, if you've opted in, showing your own history back to you. We do not sell your photos, and we do not use them for advertising.

1.4 Analysis results

We store the text result of each check (status, headline, what's working, suggested adjustments, and any affirmation shown) against either your anonymous session or your account, so the App can show you your usage and, if you've enabled it, your history.

1.5 Subscription and purchase information

If you subscribe to Jigi Mi Plus, your purchase is made through, and billed by, the Apple App Store or Google Play — we never see or store your payment card details. We receive and store a record of your subscription (which product you bought, its status, and its renewal/expiry date) so we can verify your entitlement, verified directly against Apple's or Google's own purchase-verification services.

1.6 Product usage and diagnostic information

We record a small set of product events (for example: when onboarding starts or finishes, when a check is started or completed, when a trial starts) against your account or anonymous session, so we can understand how people use Jigi Mi and improve it. This event data stays in our own database — we do not send it to a third-party analytics or advertising network.

We also keep standard server logs (such as request timestamps and IP addresses) for a limited time, for security and abuse-prevention purposes (for example, rate-limiting repeated sign-in attempts).

1.7 Information we do not collect

Jigi Mi does not request access to your device's location, contacts, microphone, or photo library metadata beyond the specific photo you choose to submit or upload.

2. How Your Photos Are Analyzed

To generate your Quick Check or Full Look result, your photo is sent, over an encrypted connection, to our third-party AI processing vendor (currently OpenAI) for analysis, along with a set of instructions that constrain what it is allowed to comment on. We do not permit that vendor to use photos submitted through Jigi Mi to train their models, consistent with their API terms of service. Jigi Mi's own instructions to the AI explicitly forbid it from rating attractiveness, body shape, weight, or personal worth — it may only comment on presentation: grooming, wardrobe fit, and styling for the stated occasion. This applies in every language Jigi Mi supports.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information above to:

We do not use your information to serve you third-party advertising, and we do not sell your personal information.

4. Who We Share Information With

We share information only with the service providers who help us run Jigi Mi, and only to the extent needed for them to do that:

We may also disclose information if required to do so by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Jigi Mi, our users, or others. If Jigi Mi is ever involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction; we'll give you notice before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

We do not sell your personal information to data brokers or advertisers.

5. Data Retention

6. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws like the GDPR or CCPA/CPRA — including the right to correct inaccurate information or object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights; we'll respond consistent with applicable law.

7. Children's Privacy

Jigi Mi is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.

8. International Data Transfers

Jigi Mi's infrastructure and service providers may process your information in countries other than the one you live in, including the United States. Where required by applicable law, we take steps intended to ensure such transfers are subject to appropriate safeguards.

9. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, salted password hashing, and access controls that keep your saved photos retrievable only through your authenticated session. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Contact Us

Questions about this policy, or requests relating to your personal information, can be sent to contact@jigimi.com, or the App's Settings → Contact Us.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you through the App or by other reasonable means before the change takes effect. Continued use of Jigi Mi after a change takes effect means you accept the updated policy.
